Nice hotel great location

Nice hotel reasonable price. The staff were friendly. The location was excellent. The bathroom needed a little bit of maintenance but overall an good stay.

Very friendly staff. The location was good, and easily accessible to all of London, but especially to all the tourist destinations. With the Metro, we could be in the center very quickly.

Very run down. Decor in poor state. Bathroom and bedding clean but floor had a lot of bits on. Toilet kept blocking and sink very slow to empty. Location good for tube.

Ascot Hyde Park Hotel - Needs upgrades

Reception was good, easy check-in. Friendly staff, good location. Needs upgrading, plaster holes in wall, cracked tiles in bathroom, baseboards weathered and chipped. Damaged trash can. Needs some TLC. Shower pressure and temperature great, eco friendly lighting system.

Worst hotel I’ve ever slept at

Worst hotel I’ve ever slept in. The rooms are not properly cleaned, the bed is a metalframe with the hardest mattress and the thinnest pillow ever known to man. There are absolutely no sound isolation between the walls, could hear the other residents pee. The staff is super unwelcomming. Don’t go live here if you appriciate your life!:):):

The room was a furnace. Read the fine print - no A/C. Carpets were severely soiled and worn. Areas of the walls were cracked and haphazardly caulked. Entire building had a terrible mildew smell. Linen storage all over the common areas.

The room was spacious and comfortable although the duvet was too hot and heavy for the summer.The entrance is rather disappointing and doesn't give a good impression.The shower room was modern and clean and the lift efficient.An acceptable hotel and very convenient for Paddington station.

Fine hotel but some down sides

Hotel was fine. Not comfortable but £60 per night it was fine. I slept in a sleeping bag over the bed sheets as they were dirty and I felt no confidence if I said anything they would be changed. Room was safe but Corridors felt a little unsafe at times but the hotel was fine good central location.
