To find affordable accommodation in London that is actually decent and well-kept was brilliant. Room was lovely and comfortable, bathroom was gleaming, loved the rainfall shower, continental breakfast was enjoyable and it wasn’t noisy or too hot in a heatwave! Very happy and we will be returning when we next have a London trip.

It's in a great location. But this is a budget hotel. We had a basement room that had a very nice bathroom, the rest was just adequate. No air conditioning on a day that saw morning temps of 20° and a high of 29° made for an uncomfortable environment. But this is common in many hotels in big cities. 2 fans were provided but these offer little comfort. Breakfast is as basic as they get. Nothing wrong with that. It was adequate.

Room was spaceous, bathroom clean. When we asked for more teas, milks etc for bedroom we got it. It was located close to our purpose for staying there, hospital appointment stay over. Central to other amenities for places to eat out and places to visit, such as V&A museum.

Old hotel. Not in a good way. Smelled like mothballs. Lack of elevators meant lugging suitcases up and down stairs. Staff was nice enough.

The room was very hot when we arrived and the sash window wouldn't stay open as it was broken. We had to stuff our towels in the gap for air all night. Staff were friendly, breakfast was nice and entry and exit to the hotel was safe.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was well cleaned, although it could do with a little TLC. The bedding was fresh and spotless, one of the mattresses was rather lumpy. It was quiet. The hotel is within minutes walking from the museums, the Royal Albert Hall, cafes, restaurants and the tube station.

It's cheap and cheerful. Very cheap for this part of London. A couple of minutes walk from the tube station and 10 mins or so walk to Royal Albert Hall. It's a bit shabby in communal areas and room was tired, but standard double room was reasonable size and bed was comfy, bathroom was pretty new and wouldn't have been out of place in a more upmarket hotel. All spotlessly clean as well. All staff friendly and helpful and a basic but perfectly good continental breakfast was a bonus.

Our room was in the basement, so very small ceiling windows that had coverings that did not block light, so keep that in mind. You can hear the low rumble of the underground train. The room was large with lots of room for the 4 of us. The bathroom was recently redone and was nice. The breakfast was bread, cereal, yogurt, granola, juice. No toaster. Location to underground is great, good food options nearby.

This Hotel came up in a search for 3/4 star hotels, that it is not. Upon googling the hotel, it is listed as a refurbished hostel at 2stars! It is very dated and not what can be called refurbished, with cracked plaster, exposed pipes, I had to hang a towel over the bathroom fan to cover the window, no heating in the bathroom, clump of hair stuck to my foot on arrival, breakfast basic compared to any other hotel and no reception area apart from in the breakfast room, which is shut from 10pm and windows covered, where I think staff sleep, as a sheet was hanging out of the side of a sofa bed chair next to thendesk(which is all in the breakfast room….where poorly hung dated floral curtains were not even opened for breakfast. This was meant to be a treat away aside hospital checks and I found it depressing and as a single traveller, not overly comfortable! The inner door in my room could not be used as a second security as the Yale lock was hanging off. As well as the shower room, which was clean, there was a basin in the bedroom, which didn’t drain and the pedestal was taped over the broken away side. Grubby old night storage heaters still in situ, although there were working gas radiators.. hardly slept both nights due to the creaking floorboards and doors shutting loudly in early hours, prettymuch a restless uncomfortable stay sadly. I mostly blame Expedia for misrepresentation of a low budget hotel. Staff were pleasant. Totally overpriced. Location great.
