Stinkendes Zimmer das sich nicht abdunkeln läßt und die Außenwelt lauter scheinen läßt als sie ist. -100% außer man steht auf so etwas…
Last minute shifting was ridiculous. The day before check in we were shifted to another hotel when they should have found a way to Accomodate us in this hotel

Compliqué
Soucis de réservation,à priori inexistante obligé de repayer sur place. Ils se déchargent en disant ne pas accepter le prepaid.
We were moved without consent to a Oyo hotel, to a horrible claustrophobic room in a Oyo hotel out of the area we chose. No email warning either. Upsetting experience.
Got to the hotel to be told we were not booked in and it was because link with OYO had been terminated
Receptionist was blunt and rude and delay in having to ring up to find out what was going on with a relocation caused a very stressful rush to a show booked for the evening
So disappointing
Arrived early and left our luggage- charged £5/suitcase! Fair enough, it’s business. But the storage room is not even a proper storage room, you’d be lucky to squeeze yourself in between a massive post and the wall with your luggage!
There were 6 of us in a room. There was barely any space to move. On our first night, the outdoor shisha bar located in the garden of the premises, played loud music from 7pm til about 3/4am. Not one staff did anything about it, husband had to speak to the shisha bar staff and nothing happened. On the second night, toilet got blocked. It was not the first time it has happened accdg to the staff so they decided to transfer us to 3 double rooms, no big room was available. Rooms were a bit better but our room was still overlooking their shisha bar so it was the same problem, lost sleep again! Prior to being moved, we requested for a late check out 1pm and the receptionist said yes and they won't charge us at all. Here comes check out day, husband and I were outside fully confident that our check out has been extended. Apparently they’ll charge us £10/hour/room! We were mortified and we complained. Manager eventually said they won't charge us extra for late check out. No apologies for trying to rip us off. No apologies that we’re in 3 rooms instead of one because of a blocked toilet. No apologies that most of us did not get decent sleep for 2 nights! Just disgusting. That’s just no way to treat customers!
Stay away from this place if you’re looking for rest - it is situated right next to a very loud hookah lounge. People were shouting at each other and carrying on with very loud music all evening until 5am right below our very thin and large windows. We arrived late looking to get some rest - it was incredibly frustrating - did not sleep all night. Also the shower did not drain - gross. Desk staff barely acknowledged us and were checked out. A very bad experience.
Room is immaculate and the bed is better than expected. Ventilation is generally poor but at least the room doesnt smell. Hot shower works after 3 minutes of draining but otherwise everything else is fine.
I booked at this property at very short notice at a high demand time of year - was impressed that all administration was taken care of, check in was very quick and simple. Hotel is in good location, staff friendly. However, the room I stayed in - can only comment on that - really needs some work doing on it. Windows wouldn't close properly (not great in December), heating didn't work well, carpet quite scruffy etc. Bed and bedding were perfectly fine, very comfortable in fact, but having breeze coming through room wasn't great. The window issue was for both the bedroom and bathroom, with blinds not working properly on window in bedroom either.
The room itself was okay to stay, but the shower was awful. I don’t know whether it works well in another rooms or not, but mine was too low water pressure, and I couldn’t adjust water temperature. I had to take a shower either really hot water or cold water...
Avoid. Next 2 Shisha bar nightclub with loud noise
Avoid.
It's next to Shisha bar night club with extremely loud music all night long. So if you are looking for good night sleep. Look good another place.
Person on reception with poor attitude and only one line he knows. I can do nothing about it.
Came with family but sleep less night for everyone due to loud music noise.
Rooms could do with some work and paint job.
The location is perfect:
- 5 minute walk from 2 underground stations.
- 1 minute walk to Sainsburys
- 5 minute walk to a busy street with restaurants, coffee shops etc.
The rooms aren't big, but they are exactly what we needed for our week stay in London.

The toilet was very cold because the window would not close properly ,but apart from that it was fine.
Dirty filthy unfriendly hotel
Breakfast tasteless
There was only one ‘good’ member of staff Mark was lovely - he really needs to move to a ‘nicer’ hotel he is wasted on this filthy rotten place
I intend to make a formal compaint
I travel to London for board meetings so rely on hotels that are clean, comfortable and quiet. The Lexham Gardens Hotel seemed fine for my purposes and I booked a 2 night stay. Unfortunately, after checking in I checked my room and the TV was not working. I reported this to reception and was told they couldn't move me to another room and that a maintenance person would come to my room in 15-20 minutes. Disappointingly, no one turned up so I was without a TV all night. To make things even more frustrating it appeared that my room was directly next to a separate establishment (a shisha bar). I was deafened by singing, dancing, very loud conversations and music until 02.00am. At 10.00pm I complained to reception who advised that they were not connected to the shisha bar and couldn't control the noise but it quietened down at 01.00am! I was very angry by this point as I had a very early start for my board meeting. I couldn't be moved and would have to speak with reception in the morning to see what they could do.
I managed about 3 hours of fitful sleep before my board meeting. Thankfully, I was moved to a quieter room for the next night but this was a completely frustrating and disappointing stay. No mention on checking in or on the website that some of the rooms are very noisy. I cannot recommend this hotel to others.
Lovely place, lovely people near the city centre, buses, underground, pubs and restaurants nearby. Thank you to everybody. It has been our fourth tome there!
