"Staff were helpful. I arrived late and the bar staff went through everything with me. Room was large and clean. Quiet. Car park felt safe. Was a solo female."

"My room was very clean, bed was comfortable and lovely view across the manicured lawns and garden. Plenty of good parking. Lovely quiet area. Reception staff, barman & breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. Arrived at 8pm and was very pleased i could get a meal. It was very nice and fairly priced. Breakfast was hot and coffee served at table quickly, Couldn't fault my stay and price was very good for the great service and facilities. Would definitely stay again."

"Our room was clean, spacious the bed was large and very comfortable, our room had great views and whilst we had a small problem with a sticky room door, we reported it and it was dealt with very promptly. We had chosen the hotel due to its location near the Theatre as it was a very short walk. There are plentiful places to eat and coffee shops etc nearby, there is a reasonable sized car park but I imagine there might be a premium on places at the height of the season, we stopped two nights midweek at the end of September. Breakfast was self service, the hot food was refreshed regularly and was plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel."

"The hotel was very basic and there was no bar or food provision due to refurbishment but this was reflected in the price. However, considering the price, it was a good stay as the hotel was clean and functional. The hotel is located in the very centre of Stourbridge so very good if you need to be in town."

"My room was a Standard Room and in the “Courtyard” which is a walk along the side of the main property (no umbrella supplied if raining) and not so suitable for a single lady traveller if arriving back late at night. Bed was very comfortable and the first night I slept well, the second evening was noisy as it appears the room was next to a bottle bank. I was then woken at 06.15 by a “delivery” being made. I did mention the above to Reception but was sadly told “you booked a standard room” so I guess this means if you don’t book the higher level rooms, you’re not entitled to a good nights sleep. This disappoints me greatly. I also attempted to move to another room on arrival due to the out lying room but was told there were none available, I’m guessing due to the price point I entered with. The food was excellent, and the waiting staff good. The cleanliness in my room and bathroom was good too."

"Room, bathroom and all communal areas including toilets were clean and well maintained. Food was also excellent both in the evening and at breakfast. Plenty of parking and all staff were friendly and helpful."
