"Nice comfortable hotel."

"Driftwood is like a home to us and we continue visiting Driftwood. We love it. Continental breakfast and Full English Breakfast is provided with plenty of tea, coffee and juices. Dining is excellent and the car park is always full of visitors dining at their restaurant. The room were clean, Staff always obliging ie. Richard, Paul, & Eunice however busy they are. The owner has chosen the right calibre of people, who are hard working, cheerful, nothing is too much for them Although, the owner, is away ill, Driftwood is managed very well. A happy recovery. Well done Jamie for all your hard work. Richard is standing in for Jamie and it's amazing how much hands on is being managed by Richard. Well done Richard. Thank you Driftwood Team for all your hard work and effort in making our stay most enjoyable, homley and utterly pleasant. We would not hesitate in recommending Driftwood. Parking is ample, staff extremely pleasant and location is unbelievable. The staff take a personal interest in helping at Driftwood."

"Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were big, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely, healthy options too! Loved the hotel, quirky but renovated and so convenienr for the harbour. It is on a hill but we didn't mind that. "

"Our only complaint was that we had booked a room with a sea view but didn’t get one. When we raised this the hotel said they would have one available for us the next day. They were true to their word but we didn’t like the room so ended up staying where we were. The hotel was lovely, breakfast fabulous and the staff were all amazing and so friendly. We will definitely be returning sometime in the future."

"Excellent 2 night stay. We booked a balcony bedroom which had the most incredible views across the sea to enjoy the sunset. The rooms are on the small side and the bathroom is compact. However everything is spotless. Downsides would be the thin walls: be prepared to overhear people talking and using the bathroom! And the door to the balcony was hard to open, close and lock. The staff are warm and welcoming and highly efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant lacks character but is clean and spacious with panoramic views of the sea. Most important though was the quality of the food which was outstanding at breakfast and dinner or a light lunch outside on the terrace. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk and there is a Morrisons daily a 3 min walk away. Taxis are expensive on Guernsey - nearly £20 to travel to St Peter Port from Cobo on a Friday morning- the bus is £1.15! We caught the bus from the airport, and it was almost door to door. Will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us so well "
