Property is old with some recent spotty updates like espresso coffee machines in the lobby. Only one of two elevators was working which caused crowding and waits. Our room had an old, small bathroom with failed grout. The small kitchen was useful only as an extra sink and counter space. There were two flat screens which were not necessary. One covered the only space for a a suitcase. Everything worked. Price was economy but this is definitely not a four-star hotel.

This apartment is in an old, charming, renovated building. Extremely well located to beach. Nice spacious living and bedroom, small kitchen and bathroom as expected from the building age. Communication for check in/key collection/check out was good via guest portal. Comfortable bed and lounge. Well set up kitchen and proper size fridge. The shower recess could have been cleaner, and little repairs required such as broken towel rail and broken window casement locks. No fly screens. Cooling via opening windows and ceiling fans. Oil heaters provided. Only 3 pillows for 2 guests. No instructions for TV made it hard to use. No one to contact re that. A little bit of repair love for the unit and a deep clean would be good. There is no clothes dryer to use with the front loading machine. Airer provided and there is a common washing line downstairs with the common sun couch. We found the building quiet. No parking, and street parking all around is pay parking. We used council carpark, which was expensive for a whole weekend. Would stay again however.
