"This property although it was very old suited our purpose for our stay, we just needed a clean bed and somewhere to shower. Where it is situated is right on a lighted intersection and trucks and other traffic had to stop or start off again. After a few nights we became somewhat acclimatised to the noise which was very loud most mornings and evenings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. "

"This is a standard older motel located close to Katoomba with fair access off the highway. We enjoyed our overnight upstairs stay on a comfortable zipped king bed but found the one pillow per sleeper inadequate. Good aircon, necessary for climate. Nice view from large window."

"The property provides convenient, reasonably priced accommodation and a cosy dining experience in the pub or lounge. The log and gas fires in the pub were wonderful on a rather chilly evening. The private bathroom being located across the hallway and not in the room was a bit of a surprise, but the bathroom is newly renovated. (Also no fridge in the room as per the amenities list). "

"Booked the motel when the UTA trail run was still happening and it was literally the only room in/near Katoomba available. Decided to still spend the weekend after the event was cancelled. The Motel is pretty dire. Ultimately you get what you pay for at $85 a night. It’s situated right between the train line and highway so is super noisy. No staff on site so check in is automated - which is fine except it reeks of a place that can be rented by the hour. And it also actually reeks...damp smell,...

"This cottage is the perfect weekend getaway to stay at in the season of autumn. We had everything we needed and more, Olwen and her family were lovely and responded quickly to communication. We even had left behind items arranged to be picked up in Sydney thanks to her kindness. A must stay cottage if you are travelling to the mountains this year!"
