"I stayed here during my first visit to Amsterdam, and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the room was gorgeous. I refused to pay €25 for breakfast as I believe that to be rather extortionate, however the evening meals in the restaurants were delicious. Will definitely be back!"

"I liked the free shuttle to the airport and the food in the bar. The only complaint about the hotel was there was no lotion in the bathroom. But other than that, I would say it is a very good place to spend the night before you fly out of Amsterdam."

"Superb reception staff, but breakfast staff were a bit aloof and grumpy. Room service staff did not carry out two requests correctly. Beds were poorly made up. No female sanitary bags were provided. Breakfasts were well laid out and gave a lot of choice, but cooked items were not hot, and the plates were cold. The hotel itself was a very pleasant place to stay."

"For some reason my room card (room 413) wouldn't work on the 3rd evening, which was a problem as it was after 10.30 in the evening, and i was a single 69 year old traveller. I returned to reception and the card was reset, i returned again to the 4th floor to find it still wasn't working. A member of staff then escorted me to the access door on the 4th floor to ensure it worked the 3rd time."
