"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "

Room was very comfortable and secure plus it was a bonus to have the use of the kitchen and facilities, all of which were spotless. "We found the staff to be pleasant, attentive and friendly. The hotel is well situated next to the Drake mall and under 10 minutes downhill to the Barbican (fun navigating through the 6 foot wide lanes!). Take the lift to - 1. Very good value for the facilities provided and surpasses rival budget chains on price and location. Although next to a busy dual carriageway, the double glazing and air-conditioning blot out most of the noise. Breakfast was fine and the Engligh is well cooked, albeit limited to 7 items. Pastries run out fast and bananas don't exist! Plymouth is a large University city and so if you prefer a more sedate visit then avoid term times - offering you 4 months in the year. Leonardo does well in this hotel. Enjoy your stay - we did! "
