"Hotel Boyeros is a neat old (vintage) motel. They do a good job of keeping it clean and the staff is professional. The pool is very clean, and the free breakfast was good. There was a 'blackout' period for hot water that they were supposedly working on, but it wasn't a big deal. It's a bit noisy due to the proximity to busy roads. As tourists, we felt safe and comfortable."

"Vida Aventura Ranch was wonderful! It’s set back in beautiful rolling hills with a view of a volcano. I booked the last night of our trip there, before flying out of Liberia. After staying for the night, I wish that I booked more time. They have horse back riding, zip lining, many trails, pools (including a water slide), and delicious food. It is quiet, private, and relaxing. The staff are great. I would love to come back for a longer stay! "

"This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!"
