"Having your own cabin is really nice. The kitchen was cute. The bathroom could use some updating. The shower stall didn’t have a light which made it very dark. The room also needed a new bed. The one was really old, but still had some comfort. "

"This was our 3rd stay at Stone Cottage, and it never disappoints. The owner is so wonderful and friendly; we enjoy chatting & catching up with him each visit. The house, as always, was clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful amenities . We will be back!!"

"The place is really nice and clean. It has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There are cows grazing on the mountain right beside the property. It is perfect for two people. The fireplace and A/C worked well. The WiFi does not work. There is a larger house and this place is an apartment/cabin over the detached garage. All trash cans are stored inside the garage for the house and cabin. Upon arriving the trash cans smelled very bad. I could smell them when I stepped outside my car and could...

"Loved this beautifully retored cottage in the historic district. It is well appointed with all the amenities in the most peaceful setting. Easy commute to restaurants and entertainment. We even saw a mama bear and 4 cubs on the property! Would definitely rent again."

"We had a fantastic time! It is a green oasis in the city close to all attractions! We had a wonderful gas fireplace which came in handy since it got down to the 30’s during our stay. Great comfortable bed! The hosts were extremely attentive and we received sparkling wine and even a birthday cake!! We will be going back in the future !"

"My partner and I really enjoyed staying at this place for the 2 nights we are in town. Has amazing views and wild life all over. Wild turkeys and cute little bears and racoons (: Highly recommend. Only issue I had that was more of a personal problem because of my height (I'm 6'6") is that I couldn't fit in either beds (they're full size) so if you are tall like me, I'd recommend bringing an airmatress, or what I did was just take out the couch bed and put the cushions together and sleep on them."

"We were only here for a short time and mainly just needed a place to sleep. The hot tub and location attracted us and was exactly what we needed during our stay. Location was perfect for getting downtown, and the hot tub was working and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and was very clean. The house is right next to a really great restaurant that we walked to for dinner and loved. Our only negative was that both beds were very uncomfortable and did not feel clean....

"My wife and I just celebrated our 8th anniversary in beautiful Hot Springs, NC, where the French Broad River and Spring Creek flow. We rented a 'Delightful Cottage' through VRBO from owner, Deb Burks. The property was immaculate, modern (but tastefully), and provided all the comforts of home while, at the same time, allowing us a sensation of escape from the norm. Deb was helpful to get us checked in quickly and she was very responsive with questions we had during our stay. I highly recommend...

"Although close to a main thoroughfare, which did not effect us at all. It was quiet, clean and a very nice sized property to enjoy, including a lake and pond for fishing with boats to utilize on the lake. It has a nice deck overlooking the lake to enjoy with friends and family. There's a grill, outdoor games, and is an all around nice place to gather. I will be looking into this property again for future family get togethers."

"My communication with Carl and Terri prior to and during our stay always resulted in a prompt reply. The TV was tricky to operate, directions would have helped.
