"I have never enjoyed a hotel experience more! The suite rooms were fabulous, the staff was VERY friendly, accommodating, helpful, and fun, and the location was perfect. I not only wouldn't think twice about staying here again, I would plan any time in the area around the joy of staying in the hotel. We planned a family reunion in Asheville, and everyone in our family had the same positive comments about the Kimpton Arras hotel."

"The staff was excellent! The only complaint I have is the entrance we had to use for our room stunk so bad like nasty old spoiled rotten food. It was awful walking in and out everytime. "

"The experience was amazing. Cannot say enough of how polite the staff was, our room was spectacular with amenities that went over and beyond for a hotel. Food at the library lounge, dinning room and room service was outside! The peaceful atmosphere and the use of shuttle service made this stay one of my all time favorites."

"Property and room was disgusting. Mood in tub and ceiling falling down in room. The desk clerk was just sitting in front area talking to a friend. When complained about room he was not apologetic and did not care when we tried to show him pictures. We did ask for refund and refused to stay. He did grant refund."

"It’s a good location for downtown, and most of the staff seemed nice. We called one morning asking for help with the WiFi without creating a Marriott account, and they told us to use the guest WiFi and finished with “I don’t know what to tell you”. I also didn’t realize it would be the barn style doors for the bathroom. That’s actually something I hate, so if you’re going with others and don’t plan on using the room alone, maybe take that into consideration. I’m also going to gripe about having to pay $25/night for parking, but that’s just because I think all costs associated with staying at a hotel should be included within the nightly cost. Other than that, great location, it seemed clean, and the lobby was nice."
