"Lovely location and grounds. Food was also excellent.

and Spa ok although some maintenance required. The room is what let the stay down. Room 18 which is above the bar. A small room and the noise from the bar below is constant until midnight. As a result a poor nights sleep as the noise started again first thing in the morning."

"Although a little tired and in need of a freshen up, and although there was a slight drain smell from our shower (not enough to complain about) the room was spacious, clean and well furnished. It had a beautiful view over the golf course. The main downside was the mattress which was a little hard and probably a bit worn out. Otherwise it was lovely and the staff were great overall. . The breakfast buffet was, as ever, excellent. We did have an issue with our meal at The Vines. However, management have so far been helpful in dealing with that. We would return because it is a very nice place to stay and in a nice area to explore."
