Noisy. They were doing renovations. And there was a room people kept walking in and out and the door kept slamming shut. Instead of putting a door stopper to keep the door from slamming everytime someone walked in and out. They just decided to leave it that way without one. I worked nights and went to sleep at 630am. I didnt sleep all day. I check out and not returning to the hotel. People need to use their heads once in a while.

Good day Evan - first and foremost we are sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay however I’m quite confident you are confused about your stay with us. 1. You checked in at 430pm on Sunday. Not a single trade was working or on site Sunday. In fact, not a single trade arrived until Monday morning at 9am. You and your partner checked out at 10am so I’m confused as to how you worked and came back and were disturbed?2. It’s noted on the website and at the hotel that we are renovating and work will be ongoing from 8am-8pm. Again - Monday no one was even on site until after 9am as they are all from out of town. 3. I personally checked you out and asked how your stay was and you both replied that everything was great and you loved the new room. I also informed you that the doors were the last thing left to do and would be all done this week completing the renovation. While I’m sorry to hear you may not return I can assure you that renovations are not a normal process and we take pride in the product and service we provide our guests. On behalf of my team we are sorry once again and hope you will give us the opportunity to serve you again in the future. The rooms were exceptional clean. The only slight drawback was that the tv did not work, and since i was too tired it didn't really brother me. The front desk was very friendly and professional.

This hotel is newly renovated, so our room was fresh, modern and clean. They also had a great breakfast buffet included in the price, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely stay here with my family again.

Clean and well maintained . They were on the middle of a renovation but they kept the impact on customers to a minimum. The back of a strip mall didn't offer much better of a view but the inside was clean and well taken care of .

Dear Alex - we are sorry to see you didn’t enjoy your stay. Our rooms are standard size and have always been the same size. We do not advertise them as large spacious rooms as that would then be at the expense of our large spacious beds. We are renovating our rooms this winter and hopefully will be able to add some additional seating options in our business king rooms only. Our double queen rooms unfortunately cannot accommodate seating. As for breakfast - it is clearly stated on the site you booked on that it’s an additional cost. It is only complimentary for Choice Privilege members. Not sure who told you it was free for Expedia but that is not true unfortunately. Staff were very kind and pleasant. My wake up call never got programmed though which was disappointing and made for a rushed morning.
Hotel was quiet, easy to find and good location, clean and comfortable.

The staff and the property were excellent. 12 minute drive to Pelee National Park. Good restaurants close by (just ask the front desk for recommendations). We would definitely return.
