Home away from home

Beat is a very responsive and friendly host who is on site. View of waterfall and mountains from bedroom window. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Coffee stocked kitchen. All cooking utensils available. Very cozy place and would stay again

Perfect location for an Alpine vacation

We had a great time in Lauderbrunnen. I thought it was the perfect place to stay to visit the whole area. Other than walking up the hill with too much luggage the house was perfect. Everything we needed was there and the views were incredible. We spent three nights and 4 days in the area and got to see so much. We walked a lot and took the trains and cable cars places. We loved it. It was great to come back to our VRBO and relax with great Internet to get ready for the next day. It was walking distance from the train but if you have a car you can park right in front of the house and be ready to go or be ready to walk. We didn't actually meet the owner, Beat, but he communicated with us well! Thank you Beat for everything!

Great value in Lauterbrunnen

We stayed with 3 people (me, my husband and 18 year old son) for 3 nights in July. It is a cozy little space and a great value for the money right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The accommodations were as described but there are a few things that I wish the description would have included. First, the shower opens directly into the kitchen space. This wouldn't have been as big of a deal if it was just me and my husband, but it was a bit awkward with our 18 year old son. Since it was July we also had the windows open for airflow so that made it a little awkward for neighbors who might see directly in to the kitchen/shower area. Second, the description mentions coin laundry but it's really that the owner will do the laundry for you for a cost. Third, the location is great. Really close to town but it's a straight up hill to walk to get to it. We had a car so we didn't have to push up luggage when we arrived. It was hard enough to walk up without it, I can't imagine having to push luggage. Overall we had a nice stay and would recommend the property for couples or with just a small child if you're adding the 3rd person.

Nice cozy place to stay!

Beat was very kind and the stay was very comfortable! Bit of a walk uphill to get back up to the house from the main streets of Lauterbrunnen but was a very nice location and very easy to get around.

This was a cozy little space in an absolutely beautiful location! It was very clean and enough space to have what you need. Our family truly enjoyed ourselves. It was a very easy and lovely walk to Trummelbach Falls. So close to the train station it makes it very easy to get around the area. Met the owner and he was very welcoming!

Great place to stay!

I stayed in 44f. Short walk from the train but far enough from Main Street so no crowd noise. Serenity and peaceful with great views of multiple water falls. Let the birds chirp and natural waterfall lull you to sleep. Beat and Katherine are great people and very hospitable. Shower pressure 11/10. Small kitchen will get the job done for basic meals. Besides you should be out exploring. Prost!

We waren de eerste gasten, er moetnoh wel wat gebeuren.1 kookpitje is te weinig en in het koelkastje past nagenoeg niets, hooguit voor 1 dag. Als hijdit nog aanpast is het prima voor 2 personen voor 2 of 3 nachten. Maar het uitzicht en het dorpje zijn geweldig!!!
