Alpine Darling- Hot Tub- Pet Friendly- 3 Minute Drive to Palisades Tahoe

Looking for that classic Tahoe Cabin, tucked away in the woods, but still convenient to skiing, hiking and biking and just about everything in the Tahoe area? Look no further than Alpine Darling!

The main level features a spacious living area with comfortable leather seating, an over-sized wood fireplace, large flat panel TV, and even a cozy corner perfect for curling up with a good book or for a friendly game of chess. Large windows surround the living and dining area (with seating for 8), all with views of the towering pines and the forestry lands which is just a stones throw from the deck.

A simple but fully-equipped kitchen, was just recently remodeled and features all new dining and cooking-ware, kitchen appliances, and granite counter-tops. It also opens up to the large wraparound deck with a new hot tub all with spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Also on the main level are two very comfortably appointed bedrooms. The king bedroom offers another large flat-screen TV, while across the hall the Queen bedroom has a smaller wall mounted TV as well. Both share a full bath. Upstairs, the loft area is designed with kids in mind! Not only can they enjoy their own TV, but the owner has also left behind an Xbox (with video games) and a shelf full of board games too! Looking to sled? The back yard area is perfect with a sloping lot that will entertain the little ones for hours!

Perfectly located on John Scott Trail at the end of a quiet cul de sac, convenient to everything, Alpine Darling is a perfect home from which to relax, after a long day of recreation in the mountains.

The house is conveniently located to the Lake and Tahoe City.
The house definitely needs some upgrading. The kitchen refrigerator is one example. The blinds in the master bedroom broke as soon as I tried to lower them to avoid the daytime sun. I also washed the bathroom rug and the difference in cleanliness was amazing (before and after). The kitchen backing is disintegrating. Overall, for the price we paid for the house I would expected more upgrades. When fixtures are outdated and worn, the overall impression of the property lacks. The one surprise for me was what is apparently a new grill. The hot tub was clean and a pleasant feature for a cool night.

Not bad but needs some upgrades
The property is in a good location. There is some damage here and there and a little smell that you get used to pretty quickly. This would be an amazing property if they spent a little money to upgrade and fix some things. No issues otherwise. Property is best for either up to two families with kids under 10, or a few friends. Tons of games (video and board) in the property. Would probably stay again

Disliked: Cleanliness
Alpine Meadows
The house was not appropriately cleaned. There were numerous cobwebs in several corners of the house, the patio furniture was unusable, the hot tub water was not clean, there were a couple of dirty dishes the carpet wasn't very clean and the hand soap containers were filled with water not soap where we had to go out and buy our own. For the price we paid for the house and the cleanliness we were given it was very disappointing.

Nice cabin with great location
Great location, fabulous neighbors, my only gripe would be that they have an off white carpet throughout the house. When we arrived the carpet was stained and unattractive. The cabin will be much more appealing with laminate floors.

Perfect in so many ways
Just the right distance from the bustle of Tahoe City, but quick access to anything. Just up the canyon from a couple of restaurants and shops. Dreamy views and lovely quiet nights on the deck with the hot tub. The cabin itself was clean and maintained, but felt like a cabin; just what we were looking for. Cozy and charming, with enough privacy to feel removed and relaxed. Well appointed kitchen had everything we needed, with even some unexpected convenient items. LOVE this place. We will be staying here again. Thank you so much for a lovely experience.

We will definitely rent this house again next time we are in Tahoe. Great location!
It was exactly what we were hoping for from the website description. Great to find games and books there as well. Kitchen was well equipped and I was easily able to feed my tribe of 7. Comfy beds and pillows, so close to Alpine Meadows. We were all very happy with the cabin.
