"My favorite place to stay in Rockwall. The Texas Cobb Salad w/Shrimp was amazing for dinner. Breakfast is always delightful, I tried the lobster Benedict and it didn’t disappoint. Chef’s kiss! Cleanliness isn’t every an issue but I clean upon arrival Only complaint was the comfort of the bed after 1 night of rest. This was an issue during our last visit and we had to request extra padding. Outside of the bed’s comfort this hotel stay was pleasant overall. "

"I stayed at this location in Garland for 1 night. The room was well cleaned. The bed sheets need to be replaced. The room had a smell to it, but overall it was good. It was quiet for the most part, especially being near I30 and a truck stop. The door of the room I stayed in on the bottom level, the weather strip on the bottom of the door was missing. I had to place a towel on the door, so critters would not come in the room."

"Excellent vacation in a wonderful, well equipped house.Our dog really enjoyed the fact that the house was secure on all sides and could run around the entire property. We took full advantage of the hot tub and bar-b-que during our stay. The hens and access to fresh eggs were a pleasant surprise.Location wise, the property was ideal for the various day trips we made to down town Dallas and surrounding parks, to Fort Worth and to the state parks north of Dallas. Garland old town was a surprise too, very interesting.The propoert lived up to everything that was advertized and Steve, owner, was incredibly responsive to any questions we had.Strongly recommend to as a place to stay in the Dallas area"

"The home was in a great location to stores and restaurants and lake access. The noise from I-30 was rather loud at times. The home was very clean and very well stocked with plenty of space for 6 adults to share. The hot tub was a wonderful addition. The lake was unusable because of the wind and the huge storm that hit prior to our arrival. It was very dirty with logs and trash which was unfortunate. Overall a very pleasant experience."
