This was a nicest hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The walls are paper thin, and the floors must be hollow because it was loud noises all night long. The beds were very comfortable, but it was so nosy that you just could not sleep.

The room was clean and comfortable. During the day there were constantly people cleaning. The front desk associates were mostly wonderful. Will be back.

I like that the location was near the event I had attended. I paid 187.00 for a one night stay on a Tuesday. When we arrived at our hotel I was able to check in at 1 which was nice. The hotel it's self was very nice and updated. But our room was disgusting. The first thing I noticed was the smell of old dirty bleach mop water which would lead you to think the floors would have been cleaned but they absolutely were not. In the bathroom I seen multiple pubic hairs on the shower floor . And at night there was a constant smell of dirty mop water. For the price I paid I expected to at least have a clean room. Will not ever stay at another Hilton nor would I advise some one to stay at one.

Then breakfast was great. Some of the staff was not so pleasant as some were excellent. The beds and pillows are horrible. Toilets stopped up a couple of times. It was not a horrible stay just did not get good sleep.

This property was not very clean. Weird smells of smoke in the air. I was not very impressed with this Hilton property. The area seemed safe and nice, but nothing was going on in the area.

MARDI GRAS WEEKEND STAY
OVERALL STAY FINE. GOOD HOTEL FOR PRICE POINT, GOOD LOCATION OVERALL. WHEN WE FIRST WALKED IN, 2 LADIES AT DESK, ONE WAITING ON ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I WALKED RIGHT UP TO THE OTHER LADY, SHE HAD HER HEAD DOWN LOOKING AT COMPUTER KEYBOARD, SHE DID NOT LOOK UP OR SAY A WORD UNTIL SHE TOTALLY FINISHED WHAT SHE WAS DOING THEN SAID, "CAN I HELP YOU?" I HAVE WORKED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITIONS ALL MY LIFE AT FRONT DESKS, I MULTI-TASK. IF I AM ANSWERING A BUSY PHONE, I PUT CALLS ON HOLD, BUT WAIVE HAND TO A CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGING THEM TO LET THEM KNOW I SEE THEM AND I AM WAITING TO BE ASSISTED, OR IF FINISHING A TASK, QUICKLY, I SAY, "HELLO, I'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU." CUSTOMERS PRESENT IN FRONT OF YOU COME FIRST, BEFORE PHONES OR ANYTHING ELSE. OTHER THAN THIS, TRU BY HILTON WAS A FINE EXPERIENCE.

The front desk clerk was very nice & helpful. She gave us a list of the best restaurants and all of the local Mardi Gras Parades as well. Great breakfast. Clean rooms. Great Location.

The area is great. The hotel is clean but just feels kind of cheap overall— paper thin walls, can hear EVERYTHING around you. They had a pool table and family games in the lobby all free so that was really cool. Staff was nice and breakfast was good! Overall, I would recommend.

Clean/quiet property . Employees were really sweet . Loved the stay . Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because we didn’t get housekeeping the entire weekend . No fresh towels , beds wasn’t made . Trash wasn’t taken out .

The construction of the hotel is horrible! The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Additionally, the customer service at the hotel is equally as horrible.

Upon entering the room, I noticed a roach on the bed pillows. I went back down, and the staff apologized and handled the situation professionally. However, it kind of makes you wonder what you're sleeping with when your eyes are closed.
