"The hotel is laid out like a village and was great for a family with young kids, Staff are nice and friendly, Pool and kids playground are both great to have. The sofa bed was possibly the least comfortable "bed" we have ever slept on, they should provide a light mattress to use over it as it's like sleeping on a wooden table. "A great hotel and we had a great room with a balcony. Sabine at reception is a star too. The restaurant was very nice as well. We only had the one day and night there, about right if you're visiting the castles (book them in advance as they get sold out). I'm sure there's lots of hiking around if that is your idea of fun. The crowds during the day were much more than we expected - though we were there on Ascension Day so we probably should have guessed. "

Staff interaction was somewhat mixed with potential to improve - but postive overall. Only small negative is the notice in the kitchen warning guests of the sensitive smoke alarms and €600 fines - please consider rephrasing so as not to put guests on edge and worried about using the cooking facilities. "I had a Fantastic two-night stay here, I wished it had been longer. I had a large family room, certainly bigger than I needed but I immensely enjoyed anyway. Everything was great with the Internet sognal strong, a comfortable bed. The bath was great with plenty of hot water. The room also has a small refrigerator and an electric kettle which is rare in Europe. Plenty of Walk/run/cycle tracks on the doorstep too. I hope to stay here again and highly recommend it."
