"Relaxing oasis "
The staff are extremely nice and accommodating! They pay very close attention to detail and don't skimp on anything. Provided breakfast and gave free ride and paddle board rental to the beach. Felt at home and they were always around to answer any questions and guide us in the right direction!!! Well done!!

Great pool, good bar, excellent staff. Beds could use a little work though another in our group stayed in a new room which was much nicer.

"Rustic campground feel"
We had a really good time here. I'm not a big camper and I think this place is more geared to that type of person but I enjoyed myself none the less. We rented a 4 wheeler for a day which was the high light of our experience. We flew a kite, 4 wheeled on the beach and through and around town, walked down the beach, ate out and cooked in the kitchen as well. A little bit of everything. We felt very comfortable. The ocean is right down the road but it is rocky so expect quite a walk up the beach before you hit sandy water. Or you could get an ATV!!

"For the 1 percenters!"
As others have written, you need a suv for ground clearance to reach the hotel. We rented a 4x4 Jeep and had no issues. This hotel is off the beaten path with nice amenities and a great staff. We were there the second week in August and had the hotel almost exclusively to ourselves, which we really enjoyed. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We were able to snorkel, use the kayaks, walk the beach, swim, and relax under the palapa shades. They also have 4 wheelers that you can rent, but due to the heat, we decided not to. If you want a nice slow paced, relaxing vacation, then I highly recommend this hotel.

"Lots of Potential"
I have traveled to the East Cape in the past. It's a isolated, rugged and beautiful place. To have a boutique hotel as a refuge in the area is awesome. Vidasoul almost has it right. The architecture is amazing. The concrete work is stunning. The king bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The new pool is mostly complete and is small but pleasant. The fish dinners are great! Very good and tasty. When you are there, you should keep in mind how remote the location is and what a feat it was to get to the point where they are now. Not and easy or inexpensive task. I say that they almost have it right because it has an unfinished feel to it. Definitely could use some more landscaping and they haven't quite perfected their solar system. We were informed that all the fountains were off due to solar power issues, no big, but they would have been nice. The service overall ok, but I expected more from such a small place. The main person who helped us with various things hit or miss. Sometimes it felt like we were a bother to him, other time he was not engaging, but pleasant enough. He did not give off a very welcoming vibe. Maybe she was having a bad few days, but the boss lady (owner?) was not at all friendly. Gave me the feeling like I was invading her space. It was more pleasant when she was not around. It was very hot out. She looked tired and maybe over the whole thing. Lolli was awesome Made us feel like we were old friends.

"Peace and nature's getaway "
Eco Palapa is for those who seek a beautiful, simple, comfortable place away from touristy resorts, busy and noisy towns and expensive exclusive hotels. I was looking to spend a few days away from my busy life and far from touristy areas, and to be in nature but still have my creature comforts. Eco Palapa was perfect!

"Great Location and pool"
Buena Vista offers a quiet and relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of Los Cabos. This hotel is 45 minutes north of the airport and easy to find. The rooms are air conditioned and most have a good view of the pool. This hotel is on the beach and 5 minutes from town.

"Small sport fishing hotel on the beach "
Went there with my extended family for deep sea fishing. This experience was good. The main thing we did not like was the meal plan. The breakfast was the same everyday. Scrabbled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, beans, bacon with a aftertaste, toast and tortillas. I would suggest adding yogurt and cereal and fried eggs and omelets. Dinner was just one entree, no choice. So if you are there for a while (6 days for us) it get old quick. There is no room safe or office safe to store your valuables. You have to go down to the sister resort, Palmas del Sol which is about 200 yards down the beach, where they give you a safe deposit type box to store your valuables. Would be nice to have a safe in the office onsite. Sunrises are beautiful, in room coffee maker also would be nice to enjoy coffee on your patio.
