"Quiet and comfy"
Positives; Had the place to ourselves mid January. Hotel was clean, beds were comfy, rooms and hotel were quiet, beach was close-50 steps away close. Location VERY remote but COMPLETELY accessible sssshhhhhh DON'T TELL anybody hehehehe. Negatives: Hard to use the pool with the sulfur smell and to be perfectly honest, water was probably too cold (Ocean was warmer) Would be really nice to have comfy seating in rooms and spread over the hotel. The modern seating is suitable but I was looking for a place to lounge with some more comfort. Food was tasty but became repetitive

"Secluded getaway on the beach"
My husband and I stayed in a pop-up-camper at Cabo Pulmo Eco Palapa for two nights and had a great experience. The establishment is in the middle of the Cabo Pulmo National Park, and we woke up to sounds of the ocean and a great view of the sunrise out of our screened window every morning. The camper was clean and equipped with refrigerator and a memory foam mattress on each of the beds. :) Also, there were common shower and cooking areas, with all of the cooking equipment you need to make a good meal (but be sure to bring your own food). There is a nearby town, though, with a few small restaurants to visit if you don't feel like cooking. The owner and managers were very friendly, giving us directions to the nearby coral reef (Playa Los Arbolitos), and even loaning us snorkeling gear. If you're looking for a peaceful experience in nature and/or a great snorkeling/scuba spot, this is the place for you. One word of caution, though, rent a jeep (or another 4-wheel drive car), as many of the roads to get to this hotel are dirt with lots of large rocks and potholes. Also, don't use the southern part of the coastal road if you plan to visit Cabo San Lucas...I really wouldn't even classify this as a road, even though Google maps does (we learned the hard way that we should use the interior road instead).

"Remarkable place, amazing location on the sea..."
Can't recommend this place enough, especially if you want to get off the beaten path. Rooms were beautiful, food was delicious, not to mention the margaritas.

"Lovely hotel on the beach"
We spent two weeks at the hotel and we had a great time; kiteboarding, windsurfing and biking. The hotel was great, the rooms are fairly basic, beds are comfortable and it was kept very clean and the housekeeping is great. The meals are good; breakfast has a choice of eggs, pancakes, toast etc, we had the Mexican lunch to go most days which gave us the flexibility to eat when we were ready, the dinners were good and food was plentiful. We met so many interesting people that really added to the experience. The staff at the hotel were always super friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time and we will be back next year.

"The hotel has nice features but old. "
The breakfast restaurant was good but dinner/lunch place below average. The pools looked great but way to cold to use. Nice bar area but no one in it. One of the best buildings with pool tables and bar was locked up. The main Jacuzzi was not working for two days because they ran out of gas to heat it. Some of the rooms are quite nice with great ocean views but many others are old and have old noisy air conditioners. Overall it is a beautiful quiet place and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

"Beautiful location with breathtaking views"
We were a little nervous booking this off the beaten path hotel. Almost all the reviews we read were overwhelming positive but with only 24 rooms and 10 miles of curving dirt roads to the closest town "how good could it be". Well we were not in the least bit disappointed by anything. Despite booking a standard room we were given a premium room for our 11 night stay. There were very few other guests in the hotel and the staff catered to us as if they were our private concierge staff. Especially Alberto who was always willing to go out of his way and never failed to have a big smile. The food was good and very fairly priced but there were very limited diner entrée selections which was understandable given the number of guests. No night life to speak of - we were looking for a quiet serene place and this hotel was perfect for these things. If you choose to drive to this hotel from the airport I strongly recommend a four wheel drive vehicle and don't attempt the drive in the dark. The road for the final 10 travel miles is very rustic (packed earth/stones, huge grade changes and numerous pot holes). However once arriving you will be glad you made the effort..

"Rustic campground feel"
We had a really good time here. I'm not a big camper and I think this place is more geared to that type of person but I enjoyed myself none the less. We rented a 4 wheeler for a day which was the high light of our experience. We flew a kite, 4 wheeled on the beach and through and around town, walked down the beach, ate out and cooked in the kitchen as well. A little bit of everything. We felt very comfortable. The ocean is right down the road but it is rocky so expect quite a walk up the beach before you hit sandy water. Or you could get an ATV!!
