Too often, the domestic hospitality scene feels pretty average—or frankly underwhelming—for what you end up paying, so my expectations were cautiously neutral. Nayara Gardens completely proved me wrong. From the second we pulled up, the service was on another level. The staff is warm, dialed-in, and remarkably professional without feeling stiff or scripted. The rooms are stunning, tucked right into the rainforest with total privacy and insane attention to detail. The food across every restaurant was genuinely phenomenal, the spa was pure bliss, and every tour we booked ran like clockwork with guides who actually knew their stuff. It’s rare to find a place that nails every single aspect of the guest experience, but Nayara pulled it off effortlessly. I asked for eggs over medium and I got hard eggs. The steak tacos had no flavor and the steak was hard.
