"Room had spots on rug. Shower gave out shrieking, rumble sound. It 2nd room had same sound ehen shower on. Tv would go to wrong source everytime we turned off. Had to have staff keep coming to room. Soap dispenser would not work and hotel had NO bar soap. Had to shower with hair shampoo. Long black hair in shower. We all have short grey hair. This hotel was rated EXCELLENT. Only hotel so we were trapped. Take excellent rating off as not true. Owner took $20. Off"

"This was a wonderfully serene place to stay. I enjoyed the peace. The cows, horses and wildlife was so nice to watch from the porch. Bonnie the host was so nice to meet. The cookies upon arrival was an extra unexpected treat. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who want a lovely stay."

"Everything was very nice and just what was advertised. The hot tub is under a tin roof which was fun being under during the rain. Kitchen is very user friendly, good counter space and most of the tools I expected. I managed with what was there, Miles and Angela would, I think, have come through with getting me what I needed. Great value for the money, we are looking forward to returning in the summer."

"Their tv's are on dish demand so unless you want to pay for it there are no local channels. The restaurant food was great. Their rooms are small so it was very tight. Their bathroom is smaller than my rv's. Great location. "

"The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast do it yourself which makes sense in Mount Rainier because everybody starts at different times. Who’s this was so gracious and made it really feel like a home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the hot tub and really love those amenities. Also the wraparound porch was absolutely delightful and relaxing. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again"

"Cozy does not even begin to describe this place. The cabin decor is charming, the hot tub with a view of the river is stunning, and the river itself is a magical natural feature right in the back yard. I have stayed here two years in a row and it has been just as beatific and re-centering both times. "
