Cottage was adorable! Games provided…. Perfect for hanging out before hiking the mountain the next day! And the cafe was so cute with such great options. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to Mt Rainer.
Great place to stay when visiting MRNP. The staff was super friendly and the coffee shop had breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as ice cream for an after hike treat. Deducting one star because the room didn't have a coffee maker, microwave, or fridge, but even with those minor not-picks, we would still stay here again next time we're in the neighborhood.
we were thankful they left the keys for us taped to the office since no one was there when we arrived ! But when we went to our room there was a weird smell and the bathroom didn’t look overly clean … location was great though
Such a quaint property close to Mt rainier entrance. Fun little cafe shop inside as well for ice cream and breakfast / lunch items.
Friendly employees too!
Extremely clean room and very friendly staff. Breakfast at the cafe was a hit and fueled me up for 4 great days of climbing

Liked: Staff & service
Liked the old charm, location, and quietness. But bathroom tiles looked moldy and curtains in room 1 were way too small for the windows, making you feel very exposed. Needs coffee maker in room. Coffee in office was crazy expensive. Coffee makers are fairly standard throughout the USA, so this was the biggest disappointment.
This was a great place to stay just outside the park. They do have some over-the-counter food/meal selections. Room was very clean. I'd stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We arrived at 8pm after a day of exploring Mt. Rainier. My key was attached to the office door in an envelope. The room was Ok, but not very clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower. The blinds didn't cover the windows completely facing the front, so no privacy. Beds were extremely hard. Area was nice, and close to the park entrance.
Staff at check in were excellent. Easy access to activities, busy but not unbearable, evening food and entertainment were very good. Bedroom was clean but the kitchen area was not (especially the floor). Heat would not turn off. Shower is VERY low indeed. Decent one day base camp.
The heat didn't work. No TV, microwave or fridge but they had wifi. Beautiful buildings. Cafe and restaurant and gas station very close by. About 40 minutes to Paradise.
We were only there for 1 night. The room was clean & big enough for 5 people. The benches at the balcony were dusty though so I had to clean it myself. I like where it’s located which is to the end of the building & on 2nd floor. Great location & short drive to Mt. Rainier.
