Because we do not ski, or hike on mountain trails, we would have no desire to return to Ashford. The Paradise Inn was a delight for a one-night stay, but for those who are avid mountain fans then Ashford is the place to be!

Ashford is very small with only 1 gas station and not many options for food.

Small quaint town just before going up the mountains. Grab some cherries, stop at the waterfalls nearby.

Must eat at Wildberry restaurant! And please eat Sherpa dishes! Most delicious and nutritious food after a long day in the mountain. Homemade pie is to die for!

The bar and grill closed very early and literally cleaned up and shut down while we were finishing our dinner at 7:00. Kind-of rude. All restaurants closed very early, as well.
"This was a great, rustic location right next to the entrance of the park. Easy to park and access. Cozy and great for a hiking couple looking to spend most of the day in the park and then have a simple meal in their cabin. "
