"This hotel exceeded my expectations. You feel welcomed from the start, very friendly staff. It is a quiet place for families and retirees, not for party folks. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, it has everything you may need to make your own meals. Which is great when you are on a budget or don't feel like going to a restaurant. "Pros: we had the run of the place - the house and the two pools were just for the two of us. Leticia and Christian (hosts) who live in the town nearby were very helpful and friendly. Cons: the weather was a bit overcast at times but that was because it was late Feb/early March!"

facilities & beach just across foot path. Room was impeccably presented. Staff very friend & attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. One downside is parking (if you’ve hired a car), it quite pricey but we managed to park a block away on street side. "

"Excellent location right close to the beach, promenade. Lovely grounds, swimming pools. Wonderful staff very friendly and polite. My gripe is that there was no free mineral water in room on arrival, were so in the fridge but chargeable. Also we had half board again no free complementary water. We had to purchase it. We have been to other hotel chains where they were not so stingy "

"In total there were 15 of us staying in various locations. My stay in Gloria Palace was excellent , staff were most friendly, cleanliness was perfect, rooms all have sea views & are most spacious. I had only one complaint, my main course meal,which was duck, was inedible. I was unable to eat it as it was tough. I told my waitress but nothing was done ! So I again mentioned at reception & was told by the gentleman that he would ask his boss. When I was checking out I again asked & was told that nothing could be done!!! Such a pity that it wasnt dealt with correctly. "
