No, the room was great and the maid staff was excellent. I am mad because the 1 day I ate breakfast in the restaurant, I paid cash eur for my meal, they charged my room also. Additionally, they charged me for 2 bottled waters that I bought outside the room. I left the 2 empty bottles in the room.

Staff very friendly. Pool area is nice. Gym needs new equipment, but luckily there is a nearby gym. Room was okay. Kitchen had no electrical outlets, no bowls, and the fridge is packed with a mini bar, so there is almost no room if you want to purchase something for later. The bed was two twin beds pushed together. The shower was great. It is close to the bars and nightlife.

I have stayed many times at Axel Beach and is always enjoyable. While you do pay a little more compared to other hotels nearby; the room are clean & spacious and the pool area is friendly and relaxed. The staff are very friendly, especially Javier in the Pool Bar. I would recommend Axel Beach to anyone within the LGBTQ community.

Axel Brach is always my first option when visiting. The staff is great in all areas of the property. We’ve stayed at other properties in the area, but none compare to Axel. Pool, bar, restaurant, housekeeping, front desk staff… all are the best.

Great hotel, mainly catering to LGBTQ+ travellers, but as they say, they are hetero friendly too. Breakfast is always excellent. A good sized pool with a jacuzzi on the side. Slightly let down by the hotel bar shutting at 18:00, but I guess it made sense with Yumbo just round the corner where all the nice bars are in Playa del Inglés. Would love to stay again.

This was the second time that I have stayed at this property. It has a wonderful location; 5-8 minute walk to the Yumbo Centre. The pool is fantastic. Housekeeping let me sleep in every day, and were very helpful when I needed extra amenities. The front desk staff was always friendly and able to help answer any questions. I will definitely stay here again!
