"Breakfast was good for what it was saves having to go out and eat breakfast else were."

"Close to LAX. Room was clean but drab. 2 off brand bottles of water sitting on dresser not cold with a price tag of $3 each. Paper cups provided for coffee from Keurig which was nice at no charge. There was 2 reg 1 decaf and 2 tea k-cups provided. The nice ladies at reception gave me an accessible room with a bathtub. Restaurant open 6-10am for breakfast $23 charge. $55/night charge to park in hotel lot. Also charged an add’l $24 fee after checkout for some type of CA employee tax. $100 deposit charged to card was promptly refund 2 days after checkout. Staff working at front desk and throughout hotel was super nice. Customer service agent who provided explanation for $24 charge after checkout was very rude and seems to be annoyed at the fact that I even had a question. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes however it is a very small shuttle and fills quickly leaving some guest including myself to stand outside an additional 30 minutes for the shuttle to return. Do not leave the spot to wait inside or you will loose your place in the crowd and possibly be left again. I saw an older guy who didn’t make the same shuttle as me wait 30 minutes for the next shuttle get pushed aside by the crowd and nearly left without a seat. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Much nicer hotels on the same street which is very close to LAX and they also provide much larger and nicer shuttles. "

"Room was nicely updated and clean. Other areas were much more dated. I would say they were understaffed at the front desk, so.it can take a while to check in or out. Overall a good stay though."

"The parking was 64 at the lowest. Our shower broke and wouldnt stop running. After the came to fix, they left dirt everywhere. Everything was super expensive. Got locked out of my room at exactly 11 (checkout) as we were moving things in loads from the car... had to go all the way to the front desk to get a new key. System auto locks at 11... give at least a 5 min grace... geeez. Pool was not heated and that was the main reason we chose this place because it was a cold day. Kids freezing because the sauna was too crowded. People in jacuzzi also complained about pool not being heated so we bonded over that and our shattering teeth. Just unconfortable and not the Westin it used to be. I see why hotels are losing money because they are penny pitching for everything. Never going back to the Westin. "
