"Stunning rooms with beautiful views. The staff were all super helpful and lovely throughout and able to provide great recommendations when asked. "This is a brand new hotel opened in June 2026, 2 weeks before my visit. Staff are amazing, very helpful. Food is excellent. Location is excellent accross from the Lisberg amusment park. The convention center is 10-15 min walking. You can also take the tram but it is just 1 stop away. There was an issue with leak but they moved me quickly to a new room. Room size is OK, little bit on smaller size especially with large king and a small bunk bed. This is amazing set up for those with small kids....

"Fantastic hotel, spotlessly clean, excellent amenities for kids and adults. Think this would be a five star hotel anywhere. Every member of staff was lovely and quickly adapted to perfect english whenever we showed how poor our Swedish was. Breakfast was extremely varied and lovely. Location next to the theme park is perfect and overall the hotel is just a bit magical. Highly recommend will come again"

"The room was clean and quiet, and the location- literally attached to the train station- made it perfect for a one night stay between train trips. The breakfast buffet was so luxurious and special. And the bag storage room was very helpful, since we arrived early and had to check out before our train trip. The staff was very lovely and let us hang out in the lobby and use the lobby bathroom before our train."

"We had a great stay at this modern, upscale hotel. Our room was large and nicely decorated and had large windows overlooking Gothenburg from the 21st floor. The rate included spa access and daily breakfast. The spa is very good, and we took advantage of the sauna, pool and other amenities. Location is across the street from Liseberg, a large amusement park, but a bit further away from the other major tourist attractions. However, Gothenburg is not a huge city, and we were able to walk and scooter everywhere in under 40 mins. We really enjoyed our stay at the Upper House and would highly recommend it to others looking for an upscale stay."

We slept well, relaxed easily, and felt genuinely comfortable. The room and bathroom were newly renovated, modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast buffet, truly outstanding in both variety and quality."
