Agnes was an AMAZING hostess and the apartment was even better than we had imagined - wonderful location for everything we wanted to do and very comfy to return to after a long day. It’s only con (which may be a pro to some people) is that you are literally on Dam Square. So it’s busy, very busy.

"Great hotel! We’ve stayed at Kimptons before and love the amenities — and this one in Amsterdam was no different! We didn’t eat at the restaurant but we visited the bar quite a bit for some great cocktails, and participated in the hotel happy hour one night before heading to dinner. The rooms were nice — not a ton of counter space in the bathroom or places to put products in the shower area, though. The neighborhood the hotel is in wasn’t a happening / trendy neighborhood or anything but it was convenient to get to other areas (and Centraal station!). Overall good experience at this hotel & would recommend it for your stay!"

"Upon arrival the staff welcomed us like we were family. So right away they were winning points. The bed in the room was comfortable for 4 nights. The only thing about the room is the bathroom/shower area. If you're travelling with someone else, I hope you're familiar with each other as they really aren't separate from the sleeping area.
Other than that, it's a super convenient area. Close to the Reichstag museum and close to popular tram stops. Would stay here again."
"River view from 9th floor was fantastic and made our stay. Room a bit smaller than ideal but bed large and very comfy. Decor slightly faded but ok. Room was also very quiet and this is especially impressive as we were directly above the station."

"Love the staff and the ability to chill in the room with no interruptions. Last time we stayed we had a room with a fridge and shame we didn’t have that this time. Excellent location. Visit was spoilt slightly by Sonder taking money for the hotel when it was booked on a pay at hotel and was taken almost as soon as I booked it. Neither Expedia or Sonder took responsibility and so unlikely to use either again, even though it’s a great hotel "
