"This property has declined in terms of maintenance and upkeep. Upon checking in, we were informed the water would be shut off from 11PM to 7AM that evening. Two nights later, one of the escalators stopped working as we were about to step off. This could’ve been disastrous, luckily everyone on the escalator at the time was able to maintain balance to keep from falling and injuring themselves. And finally the elevators servicing the Ewa Towers— always a wait. Midway through our stay, one of the elevators was out of service, the lines were so long. Thankfully staff ushered some guests to the service elevators. But still, the wait and frustration was inexcusable considering the amount families were doling out per night. On the flip side, staff were courteous, welcoming, helpful and always smiling. Top notch. I do have to add a note, one laundry facility servicing both towers (5 washers, 5 dryers) is beyond insufficient. It’s downright wrong. "

"BEWARE!!! The ONLY thing this venue has going for it is the view and if you are on the side with no ocean view be prepared for a significant “rip off” experience. Here’s the details: 1. Paid extra for breakfast and it was a bad experience all the way around: 15-30 min wait EVERY DAY to get in. Inconsistent staff: bossy and entitled to a helpful and kind. Food was awful - the very basics and this is from a “real Hilton”! It’s supposed to be better than Embassy suites right? Bottom line: the breakfast venue is way too small for a hotel of this size. Food choices are horrible and too many nickel and dime corner cutting management choices: very small coffee cups, you have to ask for a pitcher of coffee, bowls are very small, signs up that’s safe if you take anything out you get charged $1.99 for their “Green fee”? GTFOH!!! I paid almost $12k to stay here! 2. They had an arcade room full of scam claw machines! So awful… poor kids dumping $15-20 a day trying to grab a 10-cent stuffy - really? Is that Hilton’s best option at caring for children? 3. Towel machines everywhere with signs that if you don’t return your towels you’ll be charged! More insulting ghetto verbiage that just points to ignorant clueless management. At these prices and resort expectations, I absolutely do not need to ever read that crap: staff should be waiting and serving - not barking rules and consequences. "Friendly staff. Housekeeping made sure patrons were super courteous, rooms were well stocked with clean towels and anything we needed. The gym and pool areas were great amenities especially if the weather wasn’t perfect. "

"Was ok, but it would have been better if there is a microwave in each room or at least 3 or 4 in the lobby. 1 Microwave in the lobby was not ideal for all the inhouse guests to share with. The guy in the first rent a car was too slow and was lack of customer service. It ruined our plans for that day because he was too slow. Overall was ok because of the location of the hotel. "

"It’s in the perfect location in Waikiki. Everywhere you’d want to go is accessible and/or walkable. The onsite stores, the pools, the beach access. Love it!"

"I stayed on the 16th floor and I encountered two cockroaches and signs of bedbugs in my room. When I reported it to the front desk they tried to provide a cleaner room. I had to check three other rooms before landing on a clean and suitable bed—the first two that I checked had signs of bedbugs after stripping back the sheets. I would’ve stayed somewhere else entirely, but I only had one night left and the party I was staying with were all nearby (this was a quick trip for me). I also had to complete a written statement and they claimed they would send an exterminator to do an inspection, but after I followed up with them I never heard back. I totally understand the natural wear and tear of some Hawai’i stays, but this place was far too dirty and they have obviously not given proper care to maintenance and upkeep. I would highly advise staying somewhere else."
