"we stayed in the sea room with my wife and son. From what I see it's the one with the least amount of games, yet it was fantastic. we really loved the layout and the decor is perfect for a child. I can say with absolute certainty it was my son favorite hotel during our entire trip in Japan. he was delighted to sleep on a boat bed with Mr. Otopus and climbing up and down the boat chimney. "It’s a great little hotel in a very quiet part of Kyoto. If you wish to get away from all the crowds and just experience how the locals live, this is a hotel for you. We had a room with a private onsen bath, which was just perfect at the end of all the sightseeing. Special thanks to the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable.
