"Absolutely perfect. Instructions are very clear , place was pristine . I was surprised at the size of the property as I thought it would be smaller . Good size bedroom,kitchen, living space and even the bathrooms was good with a rainfall shower and normal wand (I’m 6ft4 so that makes a difference ) very handy and detailed handbook helping you with any questions or queries. Communication was excellent from the host. Really pleased with my overall experience "

"Good central location for Matlock (not up a hill). Park very close for dog walking. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Car parking a bit tight as mentioned but ok for a average car - the drive in is easy, backing out slow but no real problem. Very nice stay esp. the easy short walk to all central pubs and shops, after a day walking in the surrounding hills."

"We stayed at The Lanes as we were attending a family wedding nearby at Haarlem Mill. It totally exceeded expectations. Firstly, and very importantly for me, it was absolutely spotlessly clean. I am extremely sensitive to dust and so typically staying anywhere away, my dust allergy will be set off. Absolutely no issue at The Lanes as everything was beautifully clean. "When searching for a property near to Bakewell my priority was a property all on one level due to disabilities as well as taking dogs. This was perfect. "A very pleasing alternative to a hotel room. My apartment was clean and tidy and perfectly situated for my visit. Lots of rowdy venues nearby but the apartment was just far enough away to stop this from being intrusive. One minor observation. I was surprised to find a socket for a round pin plug but no USB port.
