"Only area you should stay in downtown Cairo…Modern hotel with modern amenities and extremely professional. Only downside is the constant cigarette smoke inside the building. "Stairs from 9 to 10 can be brutal, but staff help with luggage. Wish they’d put handrail on lower section. But once you reach 10, it’s clean and quiet. Local breakfast was too much food, and we had great snacks in their restaurant. Used as base to walk to old Egyptian museum and metro to Coptic quarter. Desk staff great with directions."

"Staff at time of my check in was very friendly and co-operative. Room is nice and clean, we have electric kettle in room but no tea, milk or coffee so please get your own tea bags or coffee sachet with you otherwise there is plenty available around there. Location is brilliant and very close to many city attractions, plenty of shopping around and metro station in nearby. Lot of local street food is there in that area. Breakfast is very basic but served the purpose. Overall, good experience, clean, nice room and it is definitely worth staying there in medium budget."
