"Extremely friendly and helpful staff who managed to get us a room 2 hours earlier than expected as we arrived early. The hotel is clean and the lounge had good food and drinks options while we waited. They also dry-cleaned what we gave them in less than 2 hours, enough time for us to get ready for the wedding we were attending later. We had lunch at the Italian restaurant in the hotel. The Alfredo pasta was the most disappointing and tasteless pasta we've ever had... the other dishes were...

"I'm writing this review to details my 1 week stay in this hotel. I booked the biggest room with a balcony. Location : 5/5, the hotel sits right in the middle of cairo in a very strategic location. You can find supermarket, metro stations, electronics stores, and many local restaurants nearby. You wouldn't need a cab or a car to discover the area around you. Just know that it's a very lively area, so if you're not into that you might want to consider another place. I personally prefer it since...

"Cecilia Hotel is incredible! It is a great location for a great price and the rooms are clean and comfortable. But the best thing about Cecilia was the amazing staff! I came to Egypt for a study abroad semester, and I was really scared being in Egypt by myself as a young woman, especially since I had never left my country before. Everyone at Cecilia was so kind and made me feel very safe and welcome in Cairo. They even helped me with my Arabic lessons and with finding an apartment for the rest...

"I was very impressed with this hotel. I had stayed before at other downtown hotels in Cairo and I would say this is by far the best one. It was very clean, renovated and nice staff. Nice rooms, very good breakfast, nice bathrooms with complete showers. It has everything you need and more. Very close to places to eat and the Egyptian museum. I would come back and recommend it for sure to any one. Worth the price. I’m not sure why it better rate it. "
