"I asked for high floor but they put me in the middle"

"Extremely friendly and helpful staff who managed to get us a room 2 hours earlier than expected as we arrived early. The hotel is clean and the lounge had good food and drinks options while we waited. They also dry-cleaned what we gave them in less than 2 hours, enough time for us to get ready for the wedding we were attending later. We had lunch at the Italian restaurant in the hotel. The Alfredo pasta was the most disappointing and tasteless pasta we've ever had... the other dishes were...

"The best location in Cairo city centre Very noisy at night until early hours of the morning Staff are extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. Housekeeping is efficient and respectful Swimming pool is the best you can get in a central Cairo hotel Food is excellent in the lobby area Spoilt for choice when it comes to breakfast It is my favourite hotel in central Cairo I will definitely be staying there again."

"Lovely hotel - excellent location for all main activities in and around Cairo. The hotel is very secure - checks on all vehicles entering. Tour guides could find the hotel easily. Good choice of restaurants in the hotel. Live music in the bar in the evenings - very good. Room was comfortable. Only downside was the pool is very small and very noisy - despite the screening around it, it's impossible not to hear the Cairo traffic."

"Good hotel and great staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and has all amenities. The balcony provides a good view to the Tahriri square and I enjoyed sitting there at night listening to the street bustle of the never-sleeping Cairo. "

"Property is very old, so I do understand a bit of difficulty. Very hot when we were there, and ac cpuld not really cool room. Limited and dodgy wifi. Staff very eager to please. Tours arranged with Mr. Samir Fayek from hotel were great. Jotel has fewat driver and ac van for tour use, and Mohammed was a great guide! He spoke uent English, plus several ither languages. We were easily able to see all the sights."
