Close to Kyoto Station which saved us time and energy which you would need to travel any places you planned to visit/hike. Would stay here again."

I also really appreciated I was able to log in to my Netflix account and watch some of my favorite shows while visiting. It was literally across the street from a major station so running around town was super easy. I can’t wait to have another amazing stay when I come back."

"This hotel was definitely a delightful experience. I have never stayed in a ryokan before and this will definitely set the bar high. Staff was very helpful. We used the private onsen and not the public one and it was great. The bed on the tatami floor was surprisingly comfortable. Our room came with excellent Japanese dinner and breakfast. That was very close to the bamboo Grove so we were able to visit early in the morning without the crowds. It is also very close to a lot of tourist attractions. My only regret is not staying longer."
