"The Jaxon Hotel was a beautiful property with great customer service from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the location is perfect—especially if you’re heading out on a cruise. One thing to keep in mind: if you need early check-in, be sure to notify them at least a day in advance. Also, there is no traditional reception area, which means no public restrooms are available on-site, so it’s best to arrive just a few minutes before your scheduled check-in time. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it!"

"Pool and pool area was ok in courtyard with nice furniture. Noone to straighten furniture or skim pool noted. Not handicapped accessible as in website. Room doorways do not accomadate a wheelchair as are too narrow. Low toilets in room. Showertub not assessible to disabled. There is signs for handicapped bathroom off lobby but was locked and was told broken. Maintenance did make it usable for me but again toilet is low and with1 handrail. Had to get staff for the key to open it each time. Most staff average. Some nasty to people. Nightshift clerk noted to be outside in front with music blarring with people sitting in cars and had strong aroma of Marijuana all night. No snack machine. Does have cooler for drinks off lobby that require a credit card to purchase"

"This place is a dump! Airport shuttle misleading as they don’t start the shuttle until 10:30 am. "

"The pool was closed for lightning. The storm passed and the pool normally closes at 8:00 p.m. it was 6:00 p.m. I called the front desk and the concierge and they both gave me different answers as to why the pool was never reopened. It was 85° out and we are there for two nights. No pool... And they're absolutely was no lightning in the area. Tried to play ping pong the next day no one could find any paddles or balls... To employees unwillingly tried to help and never returned. The carpets are absolutely disgusting filthy old and and desperate need of replacement. The hallway was never vacuumed in the three days that we were there. The pool area is lovely but this property completely lacks attention to detail."
