"Me and my family absolutely loved this place! The pictures do not do it justice, it is far more beautiful in person. The kids absolutely adored the loft room, they felt like they were in a castle tower. Everyone had a blast in the pool, it was the perfect height for the kids, not too deep but enough that they could splash around a bit. The river was gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting around the firepit gazing at it. There was an old swingset out there that has some potential if someone would clean...

"We enjoyed our stay. Property was nicely appointed. Kitchen could use more cutting boards. And glad we brought our own knives. This almost accommodates 8, but really it’s comfortable for six. We fit only because our kids are small, and we brought a blowup twin bed. Mule was so much fun!! The kids loved the hot tub and pool. Great fenced yard! Please check your lights. The few bulbs that actually worked, were very dim. The stairwell light didn’t work. So dangerous! Electricity went off twice,...

"It was great, and honestly would’ve been a 5-star review, but they decided to cut the grass on the property at 9am on a Saturday morning, as we were enjoying our morning coffee on the back deck. Kind of killed the chill vibes. "

"The seclusion of the cabin allowed us to relax and enjoy the noises of nature and the waters of the Guadalupe River. On the other hand its relative closeness to interesting and vibrant cities such as San Antonio and Austin made it a great home base for our stay in Southern Texas. The house was well kept and very comfortable. We hope we can return in the future!"

But let me tell you about that outdoor shower – it was a game changer. Showering under the open sky felt so good, like I was connecting with nature. Plus, Jessie was incredibly communicative and responsive. Whenever I had a question, he was right there with a speedy reply, making me feel well taken care of throughout my stay....

"We had a great stay. The cabins were pretty clean. They do lack cookware in some, eating utensils in one (only 4 forks and 2 spoons. Only 1/2 roll of toilet paper in two units. We definitely had to make a run to the store after checking in. Some of the eating utensils were dirty. We still enjoyed ourselves and the location was pretty."

"Loved the little cottage, was close to town and minutes away from my sons place! Judy was the sweetest host, felt like weve known her for years! We encountered quite a storm while we were there and lost power and all was a mess outside but was still a great stay. Judy graciously offered to send us to a hotel but we refused, we wouldn't have it any other way, we will definitely be coming back to enjoy our time with Judy and the nice cottage!"
