Bed and Breakfast in Austin

"This is going to be one of those "I wish I could leave 10 stars" reviews - - we needed a place to stay for the solar eclipse, and we chose this one. PERFECT choice. I would stay here again, zero questions asked. Luey and Norris are marvelous! We stayed in the third floor (The Cole) which was beautifully decorated and appointed. The morning breakfasts were terrific, and the hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to ANY friend or family member....

"Our room was exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a porch and it wasn’t clean. The outside can use some overall maintenance, some flowers and general cleaning up. Margaret cooked us breakfast and it was wonderful. She is delightful. Location is great. We are glad we were not in the middle of the Riverwalk. "

Adina caught my eye because the decor was so fun and unique and the pictures are a very accurate representation of the property. "After reserving a two night stay, waking up after the first night, the house cook/maid informed us “we missed breakfast” and that we were “late for check out”, upon which we said we had booked 2 nights. She said you better talk to Shawn (the manager, pretty sure her son). He said he “forgot” he had some “inspection” that day “they were selling the property” and we had to leave. "We loved everything about our stay. Close to everything including the river trail, shops, grocery, dining. Cool pool, a bit small though. Good gym and easy checkin process with a cool little coffee shop to boot. Very nice, highly recommended. "

"Directions on the whole parking and check in process need to be a little shorter. There was no tv in the master bedroom, despite the fact that there are pics of a tv online. One of the mirrors in the other bedroom was dirty so I cleaned it. There was also some blue crusty stuff on the side table in the master. I tried wiping it, but it probably needs to be scraped off or cleaned with a wet cloth. The carpet felt crunchy under our feet. There was a huge spill at the entry of the building that we...
