Beautiful, well maintained and stocked cabin. The owners are very sweet and welcoming. Scenery is breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to book again in the future.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The Host were nothing short of amazing, they made us feel right at home. The views at this place were awesome. I loved all the nature surrounding us and being able to go down to the creek right below us. Would highly recommend staying here if you love nature. Thank you Patti and David for having us!

Very welcoming to our dog. Hosts were very friendly. Kitchen was great. The views were amazing. So quiet and relaxing, I will be back. I loved coffee on the porch watching the sun rise. It’s like Heaven.

We spent a long weekend at this property and it was hands down the quietest place with the most stunning views of the Hill Country. The cabin had everything we needed and had good wifi and Tv when were at the property. It was a perfect place to rest and restore after busy days hiking and shopping in this part of Texas. Highly recommend if you want to spend quality time surrounded by only the sounds of humming birds and the rustling of the leaves.

Everything is just so quiet and you are so safe located way back in the heart of nature. The house was very cozy and there are some wonderful birds flying all around. An amazing place to stay.

Great Getaway!

We loved our stay! It was very close to Hamilton Pool, which is what we wanted. The inside was cozy and the porch was great with beautiful views! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I would love to go back!

Peaceful and quiet

Amazing as always

We have stayed here 4 times and will continue to do so for as long as they’ll have us. Our expectations for a quiet, pleasant experience are consistently met. The location is perfect for relaxation and adventure. The real gem of the property is the Boyds; you’ll leave as family.

Unique and Beautiful

This place is one of a kind. Owners live on property, it's more like a bed n breakfast. So expect that. Rock house, beautiful scenery, just gorgeous. Would definitely stay again. Absolutely a 100% southern hospitality.

So peaceful

House was very nice. David and Patti were very friendly and welcoming. They were on property if we needed anything but we were left alone and able to enjoy our escape. If you want to get away from crazy city then this is the place to go. So peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Idyllic retreat from the city

Our stay was wonderful. David and Patti were friendly and gave us great advice on sights and restaurants. The house was cooled to a comfortable temperature and cold water in the fridge. The hummingbirds hovered around the feeders and I got to feed the goats with David. It was an idyllic retreat from the city. Beautiful experience all round!

Beautiful, quiet setting; comfy cabin

My husband and I wanted a comfy place to relax during our 5-day hike-the-hill-country get away. Charming stone cabin with lots of windows and porch that overlook huge expanse of undeveloped tree covered land. The kitchen is well-equipped as is the whole cabin. Comfy bed. The cabin is perched on a limestone bluff. Stairs lead to creek access. Many scenic parks are a short drive away!

Back after 8 years

This place is so wonderful. We had not been back in 8 years. We are going to start a family tradition to be back every year. The breakfast from Mrs. Patti is delicious and she was so kind to bake cookies for my daughters. Can’t wait to be back!

Amazing host / Getaway

Dave and Patti were amazing hosts and have the cutest place. We were greeted upon arrival and taken to the house. Dave was very thorough with explaining everything about the house as well as the area and things to do/go see. Once settled, we sat on the porch in awe of all the humming birds. Dave said this was nothing compared earlier in the spring! We had such a great time and Dave and Patti are a big reason for that! Will definitely be back to stay again

Great Hosts, Great Cabin

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a place close to nature where I could have some isolation but also some modern amenities. The creek below was a real treat. Parts of the creek were a little more challenging to get to than just walking down the steps, but definitely worth the effort. Very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone. It's proximity to other natural attractions was also a big plus. Even though the hosts are on the property, they were very nice and attentive to my needs and gave me plenty of space. Their response time prior to my visit was very prompt , including reminder messages. They were really great hosts.

This was a beautiful place. The hosts were such lovely people. Couldn’t ask for better hosts. Cabin was very well kept and clean. The highlight for the two of us was the stairs down to the creek. We were lucky to be there after a good rain and it was flowing so nicely. Absolutely beautiful!! We will be back for sure

Patti and David were very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. They kept the humming bird feeders stocked, so there were endless amount of birds flying in and out. The cliff view from the porch and the living room area are impeccable. One of the most unique places we've stayed in the hill country. A lot of nature and outdoor stuff within an hours drive. Would definitely recommend.
