"I can’t think of much good to say about this motel besides the 24/7 coffee available in the lobby and the pool was nice. The front desk staff was also very nice and accommodated any requests for new towels, sheets, etc. That said, the room was very dreary, old looking, and stale smelling and there was not even a safe in the room to store valuables. The towels had stains on them. The tv remote had awful connection to the tv so i had to click the button several times from several different angles to get it to work. The water pressure in both the sink and shower were terrible and there was an odd smell that came from the shower after we turned it on. There was “love bugs” all over the property which is out of their control bc they are all over sarasota, however, the door had gaps so several of the bugs entered our room. Also, the window of the rooms point directly out at the exterior hall so dont plan to ever open your blinds and get natural light in the room bc anyone walking past your room will clearly see into your window. House keeping did not do a good job at all. The bed was also hard as a rock. i had to stand in the shower to get the door to close in the bathroom bc it was so small and the lock didnt even work. The continental breakfast was just stale bagels, muffins, cereal, and oat meal and was all unappetizing. The speed bumps in the parking lot were violent at even just 2 mph. Dirty motel vibes and not what i expected from a Hilton. Idk why Hilton associates with this"

"This was a totally unexpected hotel stay. This is not the Wyndham Grand Resort we stayed in for two days with Spa and a plush restaurant. This was our favorite spot. We had a stove with fully supplied kitchen, walk in shower, mini frig, microwave, lovely queen bed that was very comfortable, and the best part was we each had a large private enclosed patio with umbrella and chairs. There were white shells lining the patio floor. Pool was beautiful and clean. Bikes were free to use to cross the bridge and get to the waters in crescent beach. We will be back. Homey and laid back. "

"The property was clean and stocked with cookware, towels, wash cloths, hand soap and shampoo, body wash products. They also provided beach towels and beach chairs which was appreciated. The reason I gave this property 4 and not a 5 because the bed was very uncomfortable for me. If your not one who can tolerate a firm mattress I’d take that into consideration. They also listed bikes at the property but they are not rideable. Both bikes have rusted chains and in one the kickstand was rusted and could not be moved. Considering this is a good property. "
