Book a Jesteburg Cottage

Bin in room hadn’t been emptied. Restaurant was closed

The room was clean, good natural light, comfortable. The bathroom was well organised. The reception desk was helpful and very pleasant. The dining room, accessed by a cute enclosed glass bridge over the canal, provided very good breakfast and dinner. It was an easy brisk walk to the Elbphilharmonie. A very good hotel.

Our main reason for booking this hotel was the proximity to Hamburg and it was within walking distance to the train station. It's location on the river was picturesque and it was close to all amenities and restaurants. Parking whilst provided was difficult, as parking garage and parking spots were extremely tight, even for a small car. Rooms were average size, which is understandable for an older building, but the beds were absolutely awful (sagging) and uncomfortable. There was an indoor...

This property has had lots of thought put into its design and the sort expectations kids big and small have when they go on holidays it’s qwerky, challenging, smart, alternative design, but everything works works well and is safe. One exception is a glass door closing off a hallway which does not have a marker to help visitors’detect’ when it’s closed!!!!

Overall this is a great hotel to stay in convenient to my family locally and easy access to bergedorf and hamburg. The staff as always fantastic. Special mention to Yvonne on weekends. 2 negatives whoever. The first is having no fridge in the room, i am sorry guys simply not good enough for a 4 star hotel. The 2nd no air conditioning in the current hot conditions in europe made for a very uncomfortable sleep.

Wonderful hotel in a very convenient location.

A nice quiet hotel not far from the city centre just a few minutes walk to the train station

Great hotel with lots of food and drink nearby and close to the train station. The staff were extremely helpful and helped me locate some personal belongings I left behind and really went out of their way to make sure I was able to retrieve them. Special thanks to Patricia and Miriam.

Everything was easy and seamless - pur luxury. The bar is amazing, so was the massage - endless choice. And to have a fantastic breakfast in such a beautiful setting just toped it off!

Very poor WiFi considering the cost of hotel. Pleasant staff in Asian restaurant but food wasn’t to the standard expected

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms are large and luxuriously decorated, with extra large beds. One of the best properties of our trip. Could not recommend highly enough for a great stay in Hamburg. 5 stars for sure!
