This is our second time at Bergström. We like the hotel located in the middle of cosy Lüneburg. The breakfast is really good with a very big variety of food. We will return again 😄

Spacious room in a great location. The breakfast was very enjoyable, and we slept well in our beds. Requesting an extra pillow was no problem. Very service minded and friendly staff. The only downside was the non-functioning pool and the somewhat outdated fitness facilities. A lot of the machines were down due to maintenance issues.

We were unexpectedly upgraded to the Wasserturm building. While the Hochzeit room was beautiful, I was traveling with a person with a muscular disease that makes 3 flights of stairs difficult. When I said it would be difficult, they offered help with the bags. There was not an offer of a different room option. I’d appreciate more sensitivity towards those that need an accessible room in the future. Otherwise, nice place and good location.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was lovely--clean and beautiful. I absolutely would stay there again. My only hesitation to give five stars was that our room was up stairs not completely accessed by the elevator, which was difficult for us on account of our heavy bags. (We're not spring chickens!) Also, because the air conditioning was not working well, they added a portable air conditioner (which we did appreciate) which required that a window be left open for the exhaust hose. It took several hours to cool down the room each time we entered for the evening. Other than those issues, our stay was perfect.

Welcome to the sleepy town of Luneburg. The room was very homey with a/c. This hotel is in a perfect location to go exploring on foot. The selection for breakfast has many good choices. I had the best schnitzel in the restaurant on this trip to Germany. Thankfully this charming town wasn’t destroyed by the war.

I booked a suit but the hotel reception gave me a 4 th floor without elevator, far from amenities, view to tree rather than other rooms view to river. No water in room , kettel was dirty and rusted.
