Just a wonderful place to get away from it all! We enjoyed the home, walking the property with our dog, fishing at the pond, swimming in the cowboy pool, and simply relaxing on the deck. The large trees and shade made it most enjoyable even in the Texas summer heat! Memories were made and we will be back... Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing such an exquisite place. This is the house that you always wish your family had - the cabin or farm house that everyone went to as a group gathering or as a small retreat. The gathering rooms are huge, the beds are soft, and there is just a great feeling of peace. This trip for us was a one-off, we went for a wedding in the area, but if we ever have need to stay in the Austin area and can stay an hour away, this is where we will go back to. Loved it.
