The resort is truly a hidden paradise surrounded by the beautiful nature of Sidemen, offering the perfect mix of luxury, tranquility, and authentic Balinese charm. "The resort is absolutely fantastic. The staff will do anything to ensure you have a good stay. The free activities are incredible. Make sure you try yoga with the incredibly skilled Wayan and the walks with the activities coordinator are well worth it to see parts of the area you would not have seen. I had a 2 hour massage and scrub experience with Riki which was absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced. I recommend the spa !The only problem at the moment is what staff call ‘the conservation project’ which is in fact heavy machinery on the beach moving rocks to build a rock wall. They work from 8am to 9:30pm at night. I don’t doubt it is essential work but I would stay there once it is finished (this year according to staff) or just make sure you select your room carefully. I had to change rooms and the staff were empathetic and responsive to my concerns. The trouble is the construction moved to underneath my balcony on my last morning making the balcony unusuable. Besides this I would highly recommend Candi Beach Resort. "

"The view and restaurant is indeed lovely and breakfast was good. Unfortunately the resort is not suitable for anyone who isn't completely mobile or elderly.  The numerous stairs, especially without any hand railings made it a struggle and unsafe.  This includes the lower pool, where there is no railing to get out of the pool. I had also expected that the resort/my room would be in the beach.  This isn't the case.  While I had an ocean view, it was obstructed, and getting to the beach required a walk back to the pool, then down the stairs.  Rather disappointing as the photos show something else. And be aware that the stairs going to the bathroom at night are somewhat inconvenient. It's a 3 star hotel, so that's what you're paying for, even despite getting the deluxe ocean view cabin."
