Château de la Bûcherie"The grounds are vast and stunning at this time of year. Ideal if you have a pet. The decor was beautiful and the gastronomic restaurant was fabulous. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there was a great choice for breakfast."
"We were staying here for an over night stop en route to the alps. Our main reason for booking was that there was a restaurant on site but upon arrival we were informed it was closed. We ended up getting a takeaway baguette for our dinner, eating it in the car park. Not ideal. Breakfast okay but poor selection available and flies all over the food that wasn’t under cover, so pretty stale."

Les Tourelles de Thun
Les Tourelles de Thun"When I arrived late the gracious lady of the house offered a home cooked dinner which I gladly accepted. It was simple and delicious. I was hungry and tired and it was a great relief not to have to go out in search of a restaurant. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. She also assisted me with an adaptor- forgotten at home- so I could charge my devices. Very sympathetic all round and I highly recommend this characterful, period building. Just a short 30 minute drive into Paris and you can...
