"This hotel is transitioning ownership from Motel 6 to vagabond Inn. It is a super nice property and I imagine it is the best dollar value for the area by far. We needed a place to stay for an early morning commitment in Santa Barbara. The cheapest thing we could find in Santa Barbara was a hostel stay and that hostel stay would have been more expensive, way less private, And way louder. Very happy with this. Highly recommend."

"The cabin we had was wonderful. Kitchen was stocked so well. It was clean and pleasant. However, if you advertise a restaurant and you are 17 MILES away from everything, that advertised restaurant better be open. We were panicked when the restaurant had not been open for over 1.5 years!!! The thought of going back 17 miles on a country road after driving over 5 hours was a deal breaker. "Really fun 8 day stay here for spring break. Friendly staff, great food and drinks at the restaurants, free bikes for cruising the beach, great location. Pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Bring earplugs if you are sound sensitive because it's near a busy road. "
