"We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. "This is a great alternative to the hotels that are on the island. But it is an econo Lodge. Meaning limited power and water. It does give a real feel for the colonial living of the island. And for my overnight stays between diving it fit the need."
