Excellence Resorts in Isla Contoy from NZ$1,098

This hotel doesn't have all the bells and whisles. But the location is great. Close to all the eats shopping and fairy all in walking distance. The staf are great and the place is spotless.

Enjoyed our stay, loved the breakfast at the beach restaurant (right on the beach). Food was really great. Service excellent. Enjoyed our jacuzzi on the patio. Walk out of the resort & shops are on your doorstep. We had all inclusive & would definitely recommend. Paradise. Did not want to leave.

Very aesthetic and clean! The private beach area was beautiful and the staff were attentive. The hotel is adjoined to the grand palladium which is a family friendly hotel, most restaurants were on that side. The food was quite unpleasant, with our one good feed being at Portofino.

We just left from our 4 night stay at Ixchel. This hotel exceeded our expectations in regard to location and facilities. The hotel is right on the beach with an abundance of beach chairs for guests. The beach is stunning and the lovely staff were available to serve drinks and food while at your beach chair. The two pools were smaller than we imagined, but still great from refreshing dip. The hotel rooms were clean, large and very beautifully decorated. The hotel is locate don the main dining...

A lovely boutique quite hotel far away from the main drag. Delicious breakfast, excellent customer service from the front desk and the restaurant staff. Comfortable beds with a big balcony overlooking the beach view. My only dislike was that the restaurant staff kept pestering us for tips if we happen to forgot to add it to the bill or asked us to correct it to 20%, if we had put down 10% to 15%. Apart from that, it was an amazing stay. Take advantage of the free bikes and ride around to...

Matthew was an amazing host and his hospitality is really what makes this a great place to stay. Being a boutique hotel, we felt we had truly personalised service, as Matthew went out of his way to get to know us, stop and have a friendly chat and offer special little touches. He also gave us some fantastic recommendations, the kind you don’t get from larger hotels, which made all the difference. The room was beautifully beach-chic, clean and well presented, with everything we needed for our...

This hotel is at the quieter end of Isla Mujeres - a major plus! The complex is set on a terraced site which slopes down to the beach. There are four-five terraces with units each side and a pool at the bottom. We were in Villa 1 - which is for a couple. There are also family units. Oswaldo the manager could not have been more helpful, and Juan and the room staff were so obliging. They made our 7 days a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience! The food in the hotel restaurant was easily...
