"Brand new hotel. The staff was perfect, the atmosphere and amenities are all TOP notch. If you have kids they'll love the 4 pools (wave pool, lazy river, water slides) and an arcade. They have a great selection of foods/restaurants. I'll be staying there again"
"This was our first time staying at Loews. We love Coronado, and San Diego in general, and live about an hour away so it’s always a nice getaway. This hotel is about 5 miles past hotel Del Coronado just across from Silver-strand Beach. It’s beautiful and quiet the electric bike rentals at the property made it very easy and reasonable to rent and “ride” into town. We were initially assigned a room above the pool, which was extremely loud. We immediately went to the front desk and they accommodated our request for a quieter room. I appreciate the staff in their accommodations who compensated us with food and drink credit. It was unnecessary, but complimentary and very kind. We booked through Expedia and selected a king room with a Bay view. My best recommendation would be to call ahead of time and make sure that it’s actually the room you are assigned. We ate in town so I cannot comment the restaurants other than The Cays, which we enjoyed in the evening, sitting by a fire, under bulb lights, overlooking the bay. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel."
"I read other reviews that were not so good but we couldn’t have been happier! We had a king suite with ocean view and it didn’t disappoint! AC worked great! Cute decor. Comfy bed! Could see ocean from sitting at the kitchen counter enjoying coffee. Great location! Clean park across the street, little local bars and restaurants all over within walking distance. Easy parking. Will come back! "

"I absolutely loved this hidden gem! The location, the ocean view, the cleanliness...all amazing. I booked this stay to celebrate my granddaughter's 2nd birthday and it did not disappoint. The check in process is a little tricky but I just treated it like a scavenger hunt LOL. There's construction /renovations happening on the outside of the building, which is needed. Also, the beaches remain closed due to high bacteria in the water which is a bummer, but overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely book it again. "
"It was so relaxing and just a beautiful home. The location is great. Except, if you bring your dog, which we brought our little poodles, you cannot walk them on the beach. I'm just giving a heads- up. Also, the ocean water is polluted, which signs are posted to not swim. So, if you're coming for swimming, not the right spot. On a better note, the property management is awesome!!! We had a couple minor issues that we notified them of, which they initiated by checking in with us first. The minor issues were resolved the same day, and like within hours. We were happily shocked at the attention and efficiency in which they serve their clients. The home, in my opinion, was underestimated. The woodwork, the style, everything was solid and tasteful. My husband loved it. The beach is right there! It's clean and not stinky. We enjoyed ourselves and hope to come back. "
